Though dozens of brands have made DE&I pledges, white influencers are still being paid 29% more than BIPOC influencers. In this panel, we’ll discuss the root causes of this pay gap, ideas for closing it, and how a personal commitment to advocacy and accountability can move the needle towards equality.
But, we won’t stop there. We’ll deeply explore DE&I issues beyond just equal pay, like the role of biased algorithms in hampering diversity efforts, and when activating BIPOC influencers feels like tokenism. We’ll address whether brands and marketers are doing the real work to solve problems of inequality, and where their promises are falling short. Our expert panel will provide brands and marketers with actionable solutions that can make a true difference.
