Getting Loud: Music's Impact on Criminal Justice

Recording: Getting Loud: Music's Impact on Criminal Justice, Date TBA

The music industry has a long history of fighting for social impact and civil rights, including raising awareness about individual cases and pushing for legislation such as California’s recently-passed bill banning rap lyrics from being used in prosecutions. From rallying around victims of wrongful convictions and helping to free the innocent to working to create a more fair, compassionate, and equitable system of justice for everyone, our speakers understand the great opportunity that exists for those in the industry to get involved and drive lasting criminal justice reform.
