Madison Baker is a non-binary Austin-based independent pop artist, writing songs you can cry and dance to. Their sound has been described as familiar but painstakingly innovative, with sharp lyricism that drifts between being incredibly personal and relatable. A Texan born and raised, Baker began to discover their voice in the slow-paced, rural areas of East Texas where they performed old country and R&B covers at tiny wineries, opries, and coffee shops. Baker began writing songs and dove into the Austin pop scene in 2018 after a few years removed from music and performance. Since then, they've released numerous singles and a debut EP, "Boundary" (2021) which explores their lived experiences with coming of age, love and loss, and the big feelings we all struggle to understand but can’t quite name.
Their newest single "U-Shaped Dent" is available now on all streaming platforms.
