Kayshawn Joseph aka Shawny Binladen was born in the Northside of Jamaica Queens. Growing up watching his Uncle Stretch hang with Tupac and rap & produce music inspired him to start rapping. In 2014 Shawny began honing his craft and released his first project "YTB The Mixtape" in 2016. Practicing and creating brought Shawny to his now undeniable raspy whisper rap sound.
His music has garnered the attention of Drake, Young Nudy, Coco Jones, and many more.
