‘Concert hall compositions for the clubbing generation’ - BBC

Brandt Brauer Frick was founded in 2008 with the approach to fuse repetitive grooves with the ethereal sounds of contemporary classical music. The BBC hailed the trio as "concert hall compositions for the clubbing generation," and their music has since entranced audiences around the world.

With five studio albums under their belt, including collaborations with a host of notable artists such as Nina Kraviz, Gudrun Gut of Einstürzende Neubauten and Frank Ocean producer Om'Mas Keith, Brandt Brauer Frick has solidified their place in the pantheon of experimental dance music.

Their performances, both as a trio and with a 10-piece classical ensemble, have taken them to over 40 countries, playing in clubs, concert halls and festivals such as Glastonbury, Coachella, Montreux Jazz, Lincoln Center, Mutek, Sónar, Southbank Centre, Centre Pompidou, Kölner Philharmonie, Fabric and Berghain.

They also pushed the boundaries of live performance, collaborating with conductor Jules Buckley and the 40-piece WDR choir in Cologne, and composing and performing the opera "Gianni" at the Deutsche Oper Berlin to sold-out audiences.
