Lolita Monreaux at Vaquero Taquero
Big, petite, and educated are only a few words to describe Mo-City lyricist Lolita Monreaux. The former teacher and Prairie View A&M University Graduate started incorporating rap lyrics in her strategic lesson plans to interact with students and soon after found herself rapping in front of Mo-City native and Screwed Up Click rapper, Z-Ro.
Monreaux was shocked at mentor Z-Ro’s thoughts of her being a “cold lyricist”, but after a few sessions in the studio and receiving so much love from the city of Houston, Lolita Monreaux was signed as the first lady of Z-Ro’s One Deep Entertainment Label. Her style, relatable raps, and ability to wow a crowd led her to working with greats such as Lil Keke, Slim Thug, Killa Kyleon, Sauce Walka and many more.
Monreaux released her 1st Album Napoleon Complex in May 2022 which features singles “Stay Real” and “I’m Not Lyin '' which she also dropped a visual for that hit 2 million views in less than 72 hours.
When not recording in the studio, or performing, Lolita follows her passion of working with children through tutoring programs and mentoring students.
