A resident of Austin, TX, Fennec draws on influences like The Avalanches, Axel Boman, and Omar-S, to combine the rhythms of his heart and samples from his crates into chopped-up, loopy dance music with a smile.

Fennec's most recent album, "a couple of good days," combines the sticky sweet haze of 1960's exotica with Memphis rap and deep house to produce a sound described by DJ Mag as "wistful, nostalgic, subtly profound, and deliciously obscure." Additional acclaim for Fennec's sound was also well-received from Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, and Resident Advisor.
