TITA at Seven Grand
Mariana Moreno, better known as Tita, is an indie pop singer born in Guatemala in 1991. She started in the world of music at an early age. When she was 14 years old, she learned to play
guitar and put together her first musical project.
At the beginning of 2019, Tita decides to experience a different sound and contacts friend and producer Bumont (Walter Monterroso), with whom she launches her first solo EP titled Todo es Mental. In this new project, she explores the emotional spectrum of interpersonal connections,
dealing with themes of love, heartbreak, melancholy, introspection and social
In March 2022, Tita shares her first song on English - Bassman Fuzz followed by the single
Valentín - serving as an ode to her son. The two songs anticipate the release of her album Mundo Cruel, which will be released at the end of this year.
The music is eclectic, it breaks gender barriers, and is influenced by pop, indie rock and musically explores hip-hop sounds and electronics. The melodies are inspired by artists like Natalia Lafourcade, The Beatles, Mac DeMarco, Clairo, Cuco, among others.
