The Shootouts

Hailing from Akron, Ohio, The Shootouts are known for an energetic blend of honky-tonk, Americana and traditional country. Their third album Stampede, produced by 10-time Grammy-winner Ray Benson, leader of Asleep at the Wheel, was released Feb. 24, the same day they made their Grand Ole Opry debut.

Iin its first week, Stampede reached #1 on the Alt-Country Specialty Album Chart and has cracked the top 15 on the Americana Music Association Album Chart.

Stampede features guests Benson and Asleep at The Wheel, Marty Stuart, Buddy Miller, Jim Lauderdale, Raul Malo of The Mavericks and more. Recently the band was again nominated for “Best Honky-Tonk Group” at the 2023 Ameripolitan Music Awards.

The Shootouts have shared the stage with Marty Stuart, Asleep at The Wheel, Steve Earle, Sheryl Crow, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Charley Crockett, Radney Foster, Chris Isaak, and more.

Following their 2019 debut Quick Draw (Top 50 on Americana radio), The Shootouts in 2021 released Bullseye, produced by Grammy-nominee and BR549 founder Chuck Mead. The band has been praised by a range of outlets including Rolling Stone, American Songwriter, Wide Open Country, The Boot and more.
