Will Varley
Over the past ten years Will Varley has been building an army of followers. Along the way he's picked up high praise from the likes of Billy Bragg, Frank Turner and late Pretty Things frontman Phil May. May, who was cited as an influence by both David Bowie and Jimmy Hendrix, became an avid fan of Varley's music before his death, even covering one of his songs on the band's final 2021 album, 'Bare As Bone Bright As Blood'.
The 35 year old songwriter has come a long way since his days haunting the acoustic nights of South London and busking around on The Underground. He's travelled the world, as support act for Frank Turner, Valerie June and The Proclaimers and has sold out his own shows as far afield as New York, Berlin, Amsterdam.
When the lockdown hit Will took the opportunity to hone his production skills, building a makeshift studio in his basement in Kent and recording a new album. A few weeks after it was released he received a call from Platinum selling singer-songwriter Eagle Eye Cherry who loved the atmosphere he'd created and Will went on to produce his 2022 single 'Hit And Run'.
In early 2023 Will signed a worldwide record deal with MNRK Music Group
