Lauren Rose Thayer at Saxon Pub
Lauren Rose Thayer is an independent country artist from southwestern Pennsylvania. Originally pursuing a career in higher education, Lauren moved to Nashville, TN and earned her Masters degree in classical voice in 2018 from Belmont University.
In March 2020, her whole world turned upside down, resulting in her having a quarter-life crisis and a career change in the middle of a pandemic. Fortunately, her music career was being sown amidst the chaos.
Combining her love for God, for people, and for 90s country (in that order), Lauren is now sharing her story through her music that is unapologetically her. Her story has taken her across the country, most recently performing at SXSW in Austin, TX this past March.
On March 31, 2022, Lauren Rose Thayer released her new single, “No Strings,” a song she wrote while quarantined on her birthday in 2020. Featuring fellow country artist, Ryan Buzzetto, “No Strings” is a blend of 90s country, southern rock, and 00s pop that showcases Ryan’s gritty vocals and Lauren’s witty lyricism.
