Combining dusty disco records and modular synthesizer melodies, Time Zones makes house music rooted in the past, the future, and that perfect two second vocal sample. The long distance collaboration between Jack Murphy (NYC) and Dan Gentile (SF) began in 2011 when the pair lived in Austin, TX, Releases include a sold-out vinyl pressing of "Vibe Shack EP" on Mystery Zone Records and singles on Bay Area Disco Records and Moiss Music (Russia). Dan took the reins over the project in 2022 and has been performing live around San Francisco since 2021. He recently celebrated his 20th year of DJing, and has played alongside the likes of Tim Sweeney, Jacques Renault, Hunee, and Romare.
