Anton Beaux-Shane Potter was born in Lafayette Louisiana. He was raised in St. Helena Island, SC. His decent is Native American, Mexican and French. He grew up in a diverse area that is rich with culture and art in all forms. Anton was raised on St. Helena, referred to as the “Island” a community of Gullah people. He was raised with a love of art and music being his top priority. Since he was 4yrs old Anton has been singing, writing and producing all of his own original music. His dedication to all of his work and dreams involves endless hours each and everyday. The lyrics he writes and the music he produces is influenced by his life experiences and the experiences of others he has come to know. Growing up in a neighborhood that was rough, Anton wrote about his experiences to share with the masses. When his second youngest sister Page also known as Natona Ro$e, grew older, she too came to know and love music and looked up to her older brother as they each wrote, sang and produced many songs together. Anton’s message through the music he writes will speak to many and having that persistent attitude to reach his goals and dreams, he will for sure reach and influence many.
