Eydís Evensen, originally from Blönduós in Northern Iceland and now living in Reykjavik, released her debut album 'Bylur' in 2021 on new Sony imprint XXIM Records.

In spite of her launching her career during a global pandemic, Eydís has played shows across Europe and beyond receiving critical acclaim and new fans along the way. Her 2021 'KEXP At Home' session is their most streamed on the COVID-era and she’s performed at London's Royal Albert Hall and ARTE Concert Festival in Paris (sharing the bill with Damon Albarn no less) amongst many other highlights.

2023 sees the release of Eydís' follow up to 'Bylur' and 2022 EP 'Frost' with album number 2. The continuation of what are the stirrings of a very exciting international career ahead.
