Miraa May
Algerian, UK based singer/songwriter, Miraa May, is an artist who will make you think, laugh, cry and feel. She takes inspiration from the north London streets where she grew up, from the friendships and the experiences of a life lived.
Growing up in a multicultural and diverse city has allowed Miraa May to discover her love and passion for making music. She uses her song-writing skills as a form of expression and freedom. Her music is a combination of her London attitude, cultural surroundings and soulful influences.
The self-described 'Tottenham songbird' released her debut EP 'The Beginning' in 2014. Miraa then released her following EP's 'N15', 'CarePackage' and 'DARK'. Miraa also self-produced a mini-series of studio sessions on her YouTube channel titled ‘Miraa & Friends’ At the beginning of lockdown Miraa not only had the life changing experience of becoming a first-time mum to her now 2-year old son, but also began working on what would become her debut album, working almost entirely with a female team.
The arrival of Miraa’s astonishingly personal, powerful and hugely acclaimed debut album “Tales Of A Miracle”. The album showcased May’s incredible song-writing skills.
