Presented by Italians Do It Better / Holodeck
Desire [DJ Set] at Elysium
This performance is part of the showcase that starts on Wednesday, March 15 at Elysium
Dream pop for the broken heart. Desire is an electronic band formed on the snowy streets of Montreal & currently based in Los Angeles. On stage, vocalist Megan Louise pivots between French & English while draped in latex from head to toe.
As a flagship artist of the influential record label Italians Do It Better, they have scored runways for Versace, Fendi, Dior, Chanel, & Bottega Venetta as well writing music for films by Nicolas Refn, David Lynch, & Ryan Gosling. Desire gained worldwide exposure with their hit song “Under Your Spell,” which was featured prominently in 2011's neon noir film, Drive.
In 2019, Desire co-headlined the Double Exposure world tour with label mates Chromatics. The performances were complete sonic & visual emersion for the audience. Their brand of 1980's infused synth wave was accompanied by ultra-vivid surrealist films projected throughout their set.
