Dresage
This performance is part of the showcase that starts on Tuesday, March 14at The Iron Bear
Dresage is the brainchild of LA-based Keeley Bumford. The project spans genres, from dreamy synthwave to indie grunge pop. In 2021 came Terror Nights / Terror Days, Dresage’s entirely self-produced sophomore EP.
While sculpting songs that ponder feminism & mental health, Dresage regularly collaborates with femme-driven initiatives to bring more equity & training to upcoming producers.
Among her collaborations, most notable is her feature with Jai Wolf on “Better Apart.” Bumford’s cover of Harry Nilsson’s “Perfect Day” with Slow Shiver was featured in the final season of Better Call Saul, and the placement led to a feature on NPR’s Fresh Air. She recently appeared in a Volvo commercial with YouTuber Andrew Huang, and her cover of Bob Marley's “Three Little Birds” with AG was placed in season 3 of Virgin River on Netflix.
Dresage has credits as a producer & composer, having recently contributed original songs and co-scored the Hulu/Blumhouse film, My Valentine, from the “Into The Dark” anthology series. Her score and original songs for V/H/S/99 from Shudder premiered at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival.
Dresage is currently working on her debut album.
