Mexico City Heartbreak is the moniker of East LA based alt-rock indie artist Rudy Torres, a singer-songwriter whose style is defined by soaring pop rock anthems and introspective lyrics.

The band was featured in BuzzMusic magazine in 2020 after the release of their debut single ‘Bad Dreams’, calling it a "vivacious and spirited track about the frustrations of trying to forget someone who won’t leave your head." They have since released numerous singles in both English and Spanish - a nod to their singers Mexican heritage and upbringing.

The release of their debut EP "Atmosférica" is set to release in May 2023.
