YU-KA at Elysium

Date TBA

YU-KA (born July 9, 2000), singer-songwriter.

Born in Okinawa, Japan, YU-KA spent half of her childhood in Switzerland and the United States.
Influenced by Taylor Swift and other singer-songwriters, YU-KA picked up her guitar for the first time when she was 15, and formed a student band before she started to write her own music and lyrics at age 17.
After releasing 3 digital singles, YU-KA dropped her first EP "Reveal" in February, 2022, which was successful to attract the Japanese music industry's attention and made her contract with Universal Music Japan.
YU-KA's debut single from Universal Music, "lullaby", was the theme song of "The Hound of the Baskervilles: Sherlock the Movie (June 2022, Japan) ".
In November, she released "No Stars" . This catchy song was immediately selected by the 2 biggest Japanese radio stations, "FM802(Osaka)" and "J-WAVE(Tokyo)" , as a "monthly heavy rotation song" at the same time, which is an extremely rare case in Japan. It ranked 1st place in the “most listened songs on the radio" chart, and ranked 2nd in "TOKIO HOT 100" chart in November.
Though still a university student at the time being, YU-KA is credited as a rising artist in Japan.
