NEMOPHILA is a Tokyo-based five-piece all-female metal band.
On August 22, 2019, just before the pandemic, vocalist Mayu gathered the current members for a session live show "mayu session".
On September 14 & 15, 2019, the band performed as the opening act at the "METAL WEEKEND 2019" event headlined by LOUDNESS and HAMMERFALL, where they first called themselves NEMOPHILA.
Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, the band was unable to perform live as usual, so on February 8, 2020, they opened an Official YouTube channel, where they released a series of original songs and cover songs. The channel attracted worldwide attention.
On February 29, 2020, they released his first single "OIRAN" and their first solo show in Tokyo on that day was instantly sold out.
On August 22, 2020, released their 2nd single "RAITEI", and on this day when the pandemic hit Tokyo again, they were unable to perform live and held "NEMOPHILA 1st Streaming Live".
On December 26, 2020, the total number of viewers for the streaming live show "NEMOPHILA Streaming Show" reached 10,000.
