Louisiana rapper Infamous Thierry delivers hard-hitting, trap-influenced anthems that highlight the struggle and hustle of street life, while also aiming to inspire and motivate. Emerging in the early 2010s, he issued his first full-length, Fly Until My Last Breath, in 2016. He had his breakthrough years later in 2018 with the underground hit, "I Remember."
Born Cameron Thierry in Scotlandville, the Baton Rouge-based emcee started making music at the age of seven, focusing on honing his rap skills in high school. After studying marketing at Southern University and A&M College, he turned his focus to music. Influenced by fellow Louisiana rappers Webbie, Lil Boosie, Lil Wayne, and Kevin Gates, he issued early singles like "On My Way" and "My Lonely," the latter of which appeared on his self-released debut effort, Fly Until My Last Breath, in 2016. He continued releasing non-album singles into 2018, when he scored his first underground hit with "I Remember." An introspective reflection on his struggle to rise above his past, the track marked a turn in Thierry's lyrical focus, which now incorporated motivational messages.
