Southern-psychedelic rock duo The Swift Drag hails from Austin, Texas. As a guitar and drums based band they are easily categorized alongside blues rock duo trail blazers The White Stripes and The Black Keys, but ultimately take their musical influences from 60’s-70’s psychedelic rock, blues greats, and 90’s grunge/stoner rock. ​The band's sound hinges on moody vocals that are interwoven between suboctave fueled, ear-splitting guitar riffs and heavy hitting drums. The Swift Drag officially formed in 2014 and their self produced debut release, "We Won’t Need That - EP", made its way to listeners in 2017. In 2020 their single "The Designer" was released as a limited edition 7” split vinyl by Secret Soup Records out of Austin, Texas and their sophomore EP, "Still Sitting Still", was released in 2022. The Swift Drag continues on their quest to ‘Wow’ crowds with their massive sound and their own unique flavor of the ‘two-piece band.’
