Lola Tried is a power pop quartet based in Austin, Texas. Established in 2017 and led by bandleader/front woman Lauren Burton, their songs can best be described as a spiraling force of sound. With bombastic vocals, melodic guitar riffs and punchy choruses, they light up a room with open access to to the human experience. Burton writes with honest urgency, with "razor-sharp lyrics darting from hyper self awareness." Lola Tried has toured extensively across the United States and have opened for acts such as Speedy Ortiz and Rozwell Kid. Their newest single, "Black and White," will be released in February 2023.
