The Uruguayan artist Belén Cuturi, based in Mexico City, who recently opened for Mon Laferte, just released her third album with Tó Brandileone (Grammy winner) and Eduardo Cabra (winner of 28 Grammy Awards and former member of Calle 13).
Belén Cuturi was born in Montevideo. She has been the winner of the Ibermúsicas Composition Contest in its
first edition. Her songs are simple and direct and have a pop-folk sound. She was part of the vocal group led by
Carmen Pi, Coralinas, from 2011 to 2018, the year in which she moved to Mexico.
Previously, she released two studio albums: Pedaleo in 2013 and Versos de Repuesto in 2016.
She performed twice at SXSW, in 2019 and 2022.
