Incorporating the imprint of Krautrock, post-punk, and psychedelia, Belfast's Junk Drawer's intuitively loose and idiosyncratic brand of indie rock mines anthems from their crate-digging tendencies. Featuring four multi-instrumentalists & vocalists fluid in their roles, they're driven by the harmony and discordance that comes from a sibling creative rivalry at the helm, and remain one of the most dynamic, exciting bands you’ll catch live.
They have won 3 Awards at the prestigious Northern Ireland Music Prize - Best Live Act & Best Video in 2022, and Best Single in 2019, making them the most awarded band in the prize history. 2020 debut LP 'Ready For The House’ placed on The Quietus’ Best-of-Year list, and saw Junk Drawer named by PASTE Magazine as one of the Irish Acts to Watch. Their latest EP 'The Dust Has Come To Stay' has gained acclaim from KEXP, Brooklyn Vegan, Bandcamp, Stereogum, as well as being featured in Paste Magazine & The Quietus’ Tracks of the Month, and was added to playlists from the likes of Sub Pop & Spotify’s Fresh Finds, Fresh Finds Rock & Fresh Finds Indie. They have shared stages with Built To Spill, Suuns & Jeffrey Lewis and toured the UK & France in 2022.
