Hailing from the Highlands of Scotland, multi-award winning Elephant Sessions create a progressive blend of intricate tunes, engulfing guitars, with a bass and drum heavy backline, their music combines the very best of trad, funk and electronica resulting in a new and exciting sound.
The band have made live appearances at some of the most notable venues and festivals across the U.K, Europe, North America and Australia, including Glastonbury, Byron Bay Bluesfest, Colours of Ostrava, New York Tartan Week and multiple headline sell-outs at Celtic Connections.
They have won Live Act of the Year (2018) and twice won Album of the Year (2017 & 2022) at the BBC Trad Music Awards, as well as being nominated for Best Group at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards and being twice nominated for the SAY Awards (Scottish Album of the Year).
2022 saw the band release their highly anticipated 4th album, For The Night, reaching #3 in the Official UK Folk Album Charts, as well as the bands 10th Anniversary where they played a special sold out show in Glasgow’s legendary Barrowlands.
