From the corners of Austin’s music scene, Shooks uses post-punk grit to push the boundaries of pop. With warming psychedelic textures and noise-driven undertones, Shooks oscillates between the familiar and experimental to furnish their unique sound.

After releasing the Pet EP in 2021 and a pair of singles in 2022, Shooks established themselves as one of Texas’ premier up-and-coming bands, taking their sound from Austin's historic stages like the Continental Club to festival stages at ACL and an international tour supporting Black Pistol Fire.

Led by singer and guitarist Marlon Sexton, the band features the exciting Dewey Ivy (Guitar), Gabe Poliakoff (Bass), Muddy (Drums), and Matt Erlandson (Keys/Guitar)

With Shooks full-length debut coming in 2023 and a litter of exciting dates following, there is a lot to look forward to.
