Candeleros

Candeleros is a sextet of Colombian and Venezuelan origin based in Madrid. Their proposal is full of nuances and eclecticism where the Caribbean sounds, mostly Venezuelan and Colombian rhythms, are the backbone of this sound experimentation with modernity, thus creating a kind of psychedelic ritual with rum, percussions, delays, samplers and drum machines.
In these 6 years of experience together, they have participated in multiple internationally renowned events and festivals such as Sonorama Ribera, Trans Musicales de Rennes (France), Sziget Festival (Budapest), BAM Festival (Barcelona), Monkey Week (Seville) LAMC in New York, Forum do Futuro in Porto (Portugal), the MIL Lisboa Music Fair, in events such as Muévelo! in Paris, Tropical Dance in Lisbon and Movements in London.
Candeleros has also had a presence on music broadcasting platforms such as KEXP Radio, Radio Gladys Palmera, Radio Aire Libre and Sofar Sounds.
At the beginning of 2022, two new productions will be released:  an EP “El Bululú” and the album “Buku o Muerte”, made up of 5 songs that appear on the soundtrack of the strategy game Cartel Tycoon.
