Sexual harassment in the live touring space is a big problem that isn’t discussed widely enough nor is there an industry standard for what is to be expected from venue staff, road crew, and fans alike. The panel will discuss ongoing work that various organizations are doing to curb sexual harassment in the live music space. Why don’t we see concert spaces, events, festivals, and touring environments becoming zero tolerant spaces? How can these organizations come together to create one focused initiative that is accessible, affordable, and has proof of progress? Let’s engage each other, promoters, artists, managers, agents, venue owners and staff to set a goal on the number of trainings completed by 2023.
