This panel will bring together all formerly incarcerated leaders who are working in various intersections of education, collateral consequences, government benefits, housing, and voting rights, to have a robust conversation around the power that comes from investing in formerly incarcerated individuals and the positive impact they can make on our society when they are freed from societal labels and allowed the opportunities to advance and thrive. Each bringing their own expertise across these industries, the conversation will also cover policies that hinder access to basic human needs and rights, and the solutions needed to ensure these systems serve and work for everyone in our communities.
