Remote Post Production and the Creative Process

After a year of figuring out in real time how to make film and television when everyone's at home, we'll dive into what worked, what didn't, and what we can take from the experience. Filmmaking is such a collaborative process, and while we will certainly discuss tools and workflow, the main focus of the panel will be how to maintain the creative process and effective communication in post while working remotely. We will discuss this issue from multiple angles with well known and respected industry experts from the areas of post producing, picture editing, sound, and color. We will also discuss the time and budget implications of remote work from the perspective of the various departments.

Programming descriptions are generated by participants and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of SXSW.
