Women in Product Innovating in Newsrooms

Newsrooms that are embracing product strategy are creating new revenue models, finding new ways to reach audiences, and improving internal culture by fostering more collaboration across editorial, business and technology departments. In this session, you’ll hear from a diverse group of senior-level women representing local and national media who are leading newsroom-product work. They’ll share examples that you can adapt to your work of how they’ve used product thinking to inspire teams and create innovative journalism for audiences of the New York Times, Conde Nast and CalMatters. They’ll also speak to the value in developing a career bridging editorial and product for newsroom leaders.
