30 Years of Kill Rock Stars on the Culture

Legendary indie record label Kill Rock Stars is celebrating 30 years of creating culture and spearheading the careers of artists like Sleater-Kinney, Elliott Smith, Deerhoof and countless other bands, songwriters, comedians, and the Riot Grrrl movement.

Looking back and looking forward, Kill Rock Stars has been the soundtrack for an entire generation, and inspired the next generation of musicians -- and is now set for a new, expansive, queer era, building on the magic of the past 30 years with an eye toward the future. This panel discussion will include KRS artists, new and historic, as well as label Founder Slim Moon and other key players in the Kill Rock Stars and Pacific Northwest music scene's history.
