The Time is Now: Radical Re-housing

Designers, artists and engineers shape their environments, and we are now on the front line to revitalize and revision our future homes, cities, landscapes, and everything in between. We see this challenge as an opportunity to think creatively and discover materials, methods, and ways of seeing that are completely new. The participants in this panel will discuss these methods of encouraging engagement with our collective social and natural ecosystems, such as more distributed energy and water systems, adaptive reuse of existing buildings, more welcoming approaches to the way we interact with biological presences of all scales, and designing specifically for resilience. This conversation will offer insight from a climate-responsive architect, a planner, an engineer and an artist.
