Beyond Stereotypes: Redefining Black Fatherhood

Historically, Black fathers have been labeled as absent, criminal, and inactive in their child’s development. In line with the month’s theme of reconstruction, join us as we honor as well as redefine Black fatherhood through a panel discussion featuring Kirk McDonald (GroupM NA CEO), Sean Williams (Founder of The Dad Gang), and Keni Thacker (Founder/Chief Diversity Creative, 100 Roses From Concrete), with Porscha Scott (Marketing & Events Director, Wavemaker) as moderator.
This conversation will work to shatter those negative depictions and shine a light on some of the personal experiences of Black fathers who are empathetic and positive role models in their children’s lives. All are welcome.
