We will share three cases of citizen science projects with the audience. Each case bears some specific lessons. After the introduction of the three cases, the panelist will explain how you can successfully start a citizen science project in your community and create more awareness of climate action and nature preservation actions. What models do they apply? How did they start? After this, the panelist will reflect on the possibilities to enhance their current projects to create more impact in their communities. Finally, the audience will be invited to join the conversation, introducing specific lessons, observations and questions. The three cases are Safecast, SPAIA, and Astroplant, each in a different stage of their development as a citizen science project.
