No doubt you are aware of automated and autonomous vehicle (AV) technology, but do you know how governments and private industry are coordinating efforts to bring the technology safely into everyday life? From educating citizens and municipalities on autonomous vehicle testing on roadways, training first responders, and ensuring automated personal delivery devices (PDDs) can deliver goods while sharing the public right of way with pedestrians, public-industry collaborations are critical to driving this technology forward for our citizens. In this session, panelists will highlight how the public, private, and academic sectors in Pennsylvania are working together to grow the autonomy industry safely in the state.
