Raj Rajkumar
Raj Rajkumar is the George Westinghouse Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University. He also has appointments in the Robotics Institute and the Heinz College of Public Policy and Information Systems at Carnegie Mellon. Raj serves as director of the Metro21: Smart Cities Institute, USDOT Mobility21 National University Transportation Center, and the Real-Time and Multimedia Systems Lab at CMU. He was the founder of TimeSys, a vendor of embedded versions of the Linux, and Ottomatika Inc, a vendor of a complete software stack for AVs. Ottomatika was acquired within 18 months of its founding by Delphi, an automotive Tier-1 supplier. Raj’s interests lie in all aspects of cyber-physical systems with a particular emphasis on connected and autonomous vehicles.
