Building Bridges for Black Talent in STEM

Mar 13, 2022

12:00pm – 1:00pm CT

Despite representing roughly 12% of the U.S. adult population, in biopharma, Black professionals account for just 7% of the total workforce and 3% of executive teams.
In order to better address health disparities & inequity within the healthcare system, increasing Black representation in STEM fields is critical.
Featuring perspectives from biopharma leaders as well as academics & D&I professionals, this panel will explore some of the challenges associated with reaching Black talent earlier in their educational journeys, as well as actionable ways employers can advance representation in STEM through strategic collaborations with HBCUs that extend beyond monetary donations.
