The Hyperloop in Texas: Powered By Student Innovation

Mar 17, 2022

10:00am – 11:00am CT

As the world becomes more interconnected, hyperloop technology presents a revolutionary and sustainable solution to increasing transportation needs. This discussion examines different aspects of the hyperloop—covering its economic and environmental benefits, its current viability as a new mode of transportation, and its unique history of co-development in both industry and academia. The panelists—leaders of UT Austin’s two-time-SpaceX-Innovation-Award-winning hyperloop team, Texas Guadaloop—discuss not only what hyperloop technology could mean for society, but also what it means for future innovators of the world. As the pursuit of making hyperloop a reality ignites students’ passions and catalyzes their development, it allows them to design and realize an optimistic view of the future.
