THE FUTURE OF DESIGN: LEADING IN HOSTILE GROUNDS
What is the role of a designer in an ever complex and volatile world? What can designers do to reimagine systems, innovate product development, develop internal talent and lead organizational change? The problems facing our world are not simple. From climate change, racial justice to corporate responsibility, we are facing challenges that require people to lead and think in bold, creative, and inclusive ways. We need new ways to see and solve the problems of today and new literacies to uncover the challenges of tomorrow. This session is for the Chief Design Officer in all of us. In this session, the Stanford d.school, will share new frameworks for solving problems, and how to apply these to lead equitable design work.
