Autonomous technology has the potential to change transportation and people’s lives for the better. However, many are skeptical or even fearful about what autonomous big rigs could mean for the industry and the public as a whole. At Daimler Trucks North America we believe the path to commercialization of autonomous trucks starts with building trust. As transportation pioneer, Daimler Trucks has been testing autonomous trucks on public roads since 2019 and has teamed up with tech companies like Torc and Waymo to bring this technology into series production.
