Date TBA

Data on athletes is exploding. It has reached an all time high with no signs of slowing thanks to advanced wearables, optical sensors and other on and off-field technology - to the tune of 2.5 million data points per player. By 2025, this statistic will explode to 230 million data points per player per year.

This data revolution begs several questions: 1) what happens to all that data? 2) who stands to benefit? 3) how can it impact athletic potential, performance, mental wellbeing, and career longevity?

All of this information has incredible potential, for leagues and teams, who are uniting around this shared intelligence, and for the athletes, for whom this knowledge is power.

This massive data aggregation play is also trickling down to collegiate athletes and even youth athletes, to encourage smarter decision-making for career development. The more information an athlete and their coaches have about them, the better.

In this session, attendees will hear from industry leaders from several perspectives, including those who are influencing the technology and those who are experiencing the upside of this monumental data revolution.
