Jessica Nordell, a Minneapolis-based writer and journalist, is the author of THE END OF BIAS: A BEGINNING, a solutions journalism odyssey through how we end unintended, unexamined bias and discrimination. Shortlisted for the Royal Society Science Book Prize, The End of Bias explores how people and places change-- what works and why. Nordell's work has appeared in the New York Times, Atlantic, New Republic, Washington Post, and she received a Gracie Award from American Women in Radio and Television. She studied physics at Harvard and MIT, and poetry at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Her 10th great grandmother was the last witch to be tried in the state of Massachusetts.
