NFTs may be all the rage as the de facto non-fungible asset. But for the rest of the digital asset ecosystem, fungibility is the nom de jour — and the future for consumers and merchant integration. In fact, we are in the precipice of a mass adoption and reimagining of digital assets. With companies increasingly looking to ride the wave of new digital assets like cryptocurrencies and find news to take advantage of legacy ones like loyalty points and reward programs, it’s up to the tech industry to build the framework for consumers to access the inherent value of these assets easily and seamlessly.
