Equity by Design: Inclusive UX Research Practices

Date TBA

Technology can discriminate, oppress, target, harm, expose, erase, misinform, exploit, and limit. Inclusive UX Research and Design invite more perspectives and uncover previously unseen consequences of exclusion. Inclusive practices provide the opportunity to equalize, protect, uplift, connect, foster equity, promote truth, mitigate bias, instill dignity, empower, and democratize. Inclusion is not just social justice advocacy or philanthropy — it’s a best practice for business.

This panel will focus on the how-to of Inclusive UX Research and Design: how to begin incorporating a more inclusive approach into your practice, how to build a business case for inclusion, and how to advocate for underinvested communities within your team and company.
