Molly Bloom

Inclusive Design Researcher
Adobe, Inc

Molly is an inclusive design researcher at Adobe, focusing on accessibility for disabled people in creation apps. She has felt an affinity for and responsibility to disability communities since sustaining a life-changing impairment as a teenager in 2006. Her research at Adobe is part of her passion for understanding and strengthening disability communities. Her approach is inspired by academic and personal experiences. In between becoming disabled and entering the world of inclusive design, Molly played for a stint on the US Women’s National Wheelchair Basketball Team, co-founded the only women’s wheelchair basketball team in California and completed a PhD about peer mentoring among people with spinal cord injuries. Along the way, she learned about the importance of advocacy in every aspect of her life and guaranteeing access to joy for disabled people.
