Patti at Low Down Lounge

Date TBA

PATTI are three people who write psycho noise-pop with a post punk tool kit and an insightful yet short attention span. Formed in Oakland, CA, they now reside across neighborhoods in Brooklyn and Queens. Patti's first few records were released via German "egg-punk" powerhouse Erste Theke Tonträger (Coneheads, Marbled Eye). Their debut LP, "Good Big", released in 2019, "is a debut record laden with meticulous riffs. It stops, starts, and speeds up." (Post Trash). It "sounds like what you might get were you to raise a few DEVO-core mutants on What Makes a Man Start Fires-era Minutemen and later Parquet Courts" (MRR). "Patti weaves between unconventional time signatures while still delivering ample post-punk hooks and circular rhythms that’ll draw you back in repeatedly." (Bushwick Daily).

PATTI will be touring on the release of their new tape, "The Toothpick 3", via Propane Exchange (Chronophage). The EP marks a departure to softer, more somber songwriting. "“On The Rice Continuum” is the new album’s first single, a loose and ramshackle punk song that rips with a shuffling drum pattern and softly hypnotic vocal melodies. There are touches of krautrock and subdued power-pop." (PT)
