Madison Baker is a 26 year old non-binary Austin, Texas-based indie pop artist. Born and raised in the quiet and rural areas of east Texas, Baker's bright, grand sound comes as a bit of a surprise. Described by Rachel Rascoe of the Austin Chronicle as having "a perfect voice for pop power-ups," Baker is only continuing to take up space in the ever-expanding Austin indie pop scene. Baker’s debut EP, "Boundary" (independently released in May 2021) speaks to their lived experiences surrounding coming of age, love and loss, and the big feelings we all struggle to understand but can’t quite name. With vocals sweet and smooth like honey and tender lyricism with a bite, Baker leaves a mark on their growing listener base and is only gaining momentum.
