Polyplastic at Elysium

Date TBA

Polyplastic is an intricate labyrinth, a siren call beckoning you in. Drawing on a diverse palette of new wave sounds, industrial aesthetics and infrastructure, Polyplastic is a band as boundless as its influences.
Their debut studio album, Medium Complications, tosses out musical clichés to marry once-estranged genres and bridge unexpected emotions. It’s post-punk with a splash of melodrama, music to dance to while lost in thought. It grabs you with a sound that is familiar yet unplaceable, then shocks you with a lick of the avant-garde. Even in songs fueled by feelings of alienation and anxiety, there are equal parts buoyancy and light. It’s music that proves there is communion to be found in our shared loneliness.
Produced by Dylan Bostick and Polyplastic, Medium Complications is mixed by Sonny DiPerri (DIIV, The Drums, Protomartyr) and Mastered by Stephen Marcussen.
